In 2006 the Windsor Spitfires Foundation was formed.
This foundation brings together the many contacts and fundraising ideas that have evolved throughout the years.
"Enhancing Lives,
Improving Our Community" is not just our slogan, but a way of life.
The foundation has many different events throughout the year.
Some of the our events include Celebrity Autograph Sessions, Memorabilia Auctions and a Kids Street Hockey Game, just to name a few.
The main focus shall be to support local children’s charities, although any charity is invited to apply for funds.
The foundation works to provide free hockey equipment and registration money to children who would normally be unable to play hockey without this support.
Of course, none of this fundraising can happen without your support, so we thank you very much.

Throughout the Summer of 2009 Spitfires Captain Harry Young along with fellow Windsor native Eric Wellwood and numerous other Spitfires toured Essex County with the Memorial Cup and OHL Championship Trophy.
